Do you want to help produce forest seedlings for the forests of the future? The seedlings are used to renew harvested forests in circular forestry. Forestry is one of Sweden's largest and most important industries. We have a long tradition of using wood to build houses, produce paper products, and protect homes and workplaces, among other things. The forests we manage are circularly renewable if they are replanted. At Flåboda nursery, we produce approximately 10 million high-quality forest seedlings annually. Do you want to contribute?

As a nursery worker, the work varies with the seasons, and there are great opportunities to develop and grow in this varied role. During spring and summer, we work daytime, mostly outdoors and in greenhouses with cultivation. In autumn and winter, we work two shifts indoors with seedling sorting, mechanical treatment, packing, and delivery. The work is partly physical but also technical. During the winter months, you will practically be an operator on a semi-automated production line, ensuring the production flows smoothly. This involves monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs, all in close collaboration with your team. After a while, operating a wheel loader and forklift may become relevant.

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, is not afraid to put in the effort when needed, and appreciates a job that involves both machines and people. You do not need to know everything from the start – what matters is that you have the willingness to learn, a good safety mindset, and enjoy being part of a team where everyone plays an important role.

You are solution-oriented, curious, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience with machines, wheel loaders, or production – but it is not a requirement.

The position is a permanent employment with placement at the nursery in Flåboda, Tingsryd municipality. We apply a probationary period. Working hours are daytime 06:48-16:00, morning shift 05:48-14:45, and evening shift 14:30-23:45.

A driving license (B) to commute to and from work is necessary.
